After a great start in Lisbon the participants of MEGT – Make Europe Greater Tour 2017/18 arrived in Tomar, our last stop on the Way of St. James (Camino de Santiago).

The places we stayed so far:
Granja, Vila Franca de Xira, Azambuja, Santarém, Golegã, Constância and Tomar.
From now on the walking and cycling routes are going on separated ways heading to Madrid.
Next stop for the walking group today: Abrantes
The cycling team will stay in Tomar for one more day and leaving in direction to Castelo Branco tomorrow.

We met a lot of nice people, some joined us on the paths and many helped in very different ways.

Special thanks to Miguel and his stuff at N1 Hostel Santarém Apartments and Suites, Carina at Hostel 18 and the Município de Constância. They gave us a very warm welcome to the small city which is a lovely place. Now in Tomar we stay with Sonia at Hostel 2300 Thomar. Beautiful cities and nice guides through their places 🙂

And with lots of delay many thanks to both Nunos and all the Stuff and lovely people at the Back To Lisbon Hostel. We’d been preparing and organizing there for the start in Lisbon many days. And they helped us a lot on various matters.

In all those hostels both, the guests and the workers, already represent very well the Go Europe objective:

Many people from places all over the world living together in peace, happiness and lots of respect for each other. Some of them even become friends 🙂
